St Peter’s Church, Copdock is developing exciting plans for a National Lottery Heritage Fund project – and they’d love to hear your views.
The project will restore and celebrate one of the village’s most treasured landmarks. Plans include repairing the historic church tower and bells, improving access, and creating new activities to connect people with local history, nature and wellbeing.
To make sure these plans reflect what the community really wants, the church is inviting everyone in Copdock and Washbrook to take part in a short online survey. Your views will help shape how the church is used and enjoyed by all in the future – from craft activities and mental health walks to biodiversity projects and heritage skills workshops.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for the people of Copdock to help shape the future of our village church – not just as a place of worship, but as a space for learning, nature, and belonging,” said project lead David Lincoln.
Whether you’re interested in bell ringing, wildlife, mental health, local history, education, enjoying the peace of the churchyard, or simply want to support our village heritage, your opinion matters.
