Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, National Highways will need to close the A14 between junction 52 (Claydon) and 55 (Copdock Interchange), and divert traffic as detailed below:
While the A14 is closed eastbound, traffic will exit at junction 52 (Claydon), travel along the B1113 through Bramford and Sproughton, then along the A1071 and A1214 to rejoin the A14 at Copdock roundabout.
Westbound traffic will follow the same diversion but in reverse.
National Highways understands that this work may cause some inconvenience and they sincerely apologise for any disruption these changes may cause. Their team is committed to completing the road works as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise any further inconvenience.
